Function: Transmits key signals to a monitor module in the 3500 rack, detects the alignment of the key phase mark on the shaft with the key phase sensor via a magnetic sensor or proximity probe, and converts the input signal into a numeric key signal.
Input signal range: The input signal range is 0.8V to 21.0V for non-isolated I/O modules and 5V to - 11V for isolated I/O modules.
Buffer key signal: There are two coaxial connectors with buffered keyphasor outputs at the front of the rack, and the maximum output impedance of the buffer is 504 ohms.
Keyphasor sensor power supply: -24Vdc, 40mA max per channel.
Operating temperature: -30°C to 65°C when used with a non-internal barrier version of the keyphasor I/O module; 0°C to 65°C when used with the internal barrier I/O module (internal termination) of the keyphaser.
Rack space requirements: 1 half-height front slot, 1 full-height rear slot for I/O modules.
